TAI CHI CHUAN
Tai Chi Chuan
Tai Chi Chuan classes offered at Peninsula Kung Fu with instructor Emma.
Emma has been practising Tai Chi since 2005.
Emma learned the Wushu style with Master Lu of Chi Masters, Yi Shi Chi Gong Wu Shu Academy in Brunswick. Also a Kinesiologist based in Mt Eliza, Tai Chi is an integral part of Emma’s sense of peace and balance in her management of daily life.
The classes offer training in the basics of Tai Chi Chuan, including:
- Stretching and Stances
- Form (Basic 24 form)
- Chi Gong exercises
- Breathing techniques
It takes many years to master the form itself, however you can benefit from the gentle stretching and movement as a beginner.
Beginner courses are run regularly throughout the year, with ongoing casual classes available during school term.
